Designed by Nicki and Amanda personally, this wooden mosaic heart ornament was created to offer children and teens a therapeutic activity to express the emotions in their heart.
The mosaic can be used in so many ways, and so it is our go-to project for therapeutic groups and special events, as the finished product becomes a beautiful and meaningful momento.
Memories can be written on each wooden piece and placed together in the heart to create a treasured keepsake. Pieces can painted with a specific colour that represents each person in a family, and they can be fit together in this beautiful heart-shaped puzzle. Individual feelings can be painted on each piece to create a visual respresentation of a tender heart.
The process of painting is soothing, and this activity provides the space needed for children to process, express, and "sit with" emotions related to grief and loss. Craft paint sets can be added as needed.
Each 7" heart is laser cut out of 1/8" thick Baltic Birch. It comes with a ribbon for hanging. There is an option to add an acrylic paint set and paint brush to decorate with. Each With Love package comes with a signature notecard that can be personalized. Please indicate your personalized message in the custom text box if you would like this included.
